About this blog
I'm Mike's little sister, and I've created this blog to honor his memory and soul by sharing and collecting stories about him from family, friends, and classmates. This year would have been Mike's 25th high school reunion, so I thought it may be a good time to start this memorial. PLEASE feel free to post a story. After all, that's the purpose of this site!
As his little sister growing up, I remember him as a sensitive (but pesky!) older brother who made life difficult for me.
As his kid sister in early adulthood, I remember him as a protective, gentlemanly, and very generous older brother who matured greatly during his time in the Army.
Now, as his sister in full adulthood, I know there was a lot more to Mike than from my view of his world.
So, I really look forward to reading your stories...and being able to fill in the blanks when I wasn't paying attention as we were growing up. It'll make my mom feel good to read your stories too! She'll probably cry. Don't worry, it doesn't take much for her to cry. So be brave. Let's hear from you...in honor of my brother, Mike!
